Chef Moeen discovered his passion for the culinary arts at a very young age in Jordan, where he was born. Nineteen years ago he started his culinary journey; self-taught, he has been under the influence of many great chefs throughout his career. He has worked in some of the best five-star hotels across the Middle East, where he continued to refine and master his culinary artistry and technique. These various positions led him to become a professional chef and master of the luxe style of hotel cookery. Chef Moeen's journey brought him to New York City in 2010 to experiment with the art of fine gastronomy, to work with global chefs and further expand his palate, discovering new ingredients and experimenting with new flavors. Five years later in this incredible city, Chef Moeen has crafted his own style. Pursuing his dream of fine gastronomy by elevating Arabian cuisine, he conceptualized and opened his first pop-up restaurant, The Broken English. With the first pop-up well received by this city, he continues to take this passion to new heights.
